Connect to Server Dialog

The Connect to Server dialog box is used to connect SQL Internals Viewer to a SQL Server.

It is displayed when the application first starts and can also be opened using the Connect button on the Database Browser toolbar or the Server – Connect menu item on the main menu.

Enter a Server Name and Authentication type. If using SQL Authentication enter a user name and password. When all of the connection information has been entered press the Connect button.

SQL Internals Viewer requires the sysadmin role.

New in version 1.0
Server connection information is stored after a successful connection. All passwords are encrypted. The Server Name drop down can be used to select previously stored connection information.
